TAXI sucks TAXI sucks. I went ahead and got a year's subscription, only to find when the package arrived that they tried to upsell me on another more expensive service! I play eclectic electronic music and the opportunities that seemed to fit my music were few and far-between! When I did get a critique they suggested that i use standard song structure. I didn't need to spend hundreds of dollars to figure that one out! I get the feeling that TAXI understands the pop music world well but once you travel outside of that world they don't know what they're talking about. You'd have to be completely unaware of the history of electronic music to suggest song structure to everyone and the bands they suggested I listen to in the critique were not other electronic bands. You might be thinking "well maybe his music wasn't good enough and he's just sour about not getting a good review." You might be right, but I just want people to know that going to the TAXI site and reading all the FREE material they give away is probably more valuable advice than what you get when you pay. thanks for reading Matthew Claener aka art damage
